Carrick District Council has received a planning proposal that would demolish the existing clubhouse; erect a new clubhouse and pro shop; construct a car park; and build 48 holiday lodges.   The application also refers to the provision of a public footpath. 

The planning reference is: EA02/0075/09/M

The planning officer is: Mr G Lowe

This development is close to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the South West Coast Path borders the eastern boundary of the site.  A further footpath crosses the golf course.

Planning Updates

The application to develop land at Falmouth Golf Links has been opposed by Falmouth Town Council, principally on the grounds that it breaches AONB planning policies.
