How to persuade planning authorities to reject wind turbines

I'm just back from a week in Germany visiting old friends. You wouldn't believe the number of turbines (with flashing lights), literally everywhere in that country - it is horrendous.

This has prompted me to ask you to kindly circulate the following message on my behalf.

The anti-wind farm lobby have, for years, been handicapped by not having enough information with which to put their case.  Many like me, in the early days of campaigning, have resorted to anecdotes, rumours and in some cases personal opinion, and the wind industry has been very quick to expose anyone who hasn't quoted verifiable facts, and several of us have even been at the wrong end of an ASA ruling, for our sins.

Out of the blue a magnificent tool has arrived which is the answer to our problems, a factual account, written by a well known scientist, which completely exposes the A to Z of the Wind Farm Scam:

"Wind Farm Scam"

by Dr John Etherington

Recently at a meeting of the Moray Council that was to decide the outcome of a proposed wind farm at Dorenell, near Dufftown, Scotland, the planning committee were tied at 4-4. The chairman's casting vote swung it our way 5-4.  I had ensured that each of the councillors had received a copy of Dr Etherington's book prior to this meeting and I am certain that it was this that convinced two of the 'undecided' members.

We need to get as many copies of this book into the public arena as soon as possible, as well as copies to local councillors and MP's.  There are hundreds of thousands of people who are opposed to wind farms, and they can only benefit by acquiring a copy of this book.  On a personal note I have sold over 40 copies in my local area in the last two weeks. I can only urge others to do likewise - I guarantee that people will buy them.

Stacey-International (020 7221 7166), the publishers, will supply a minimum order of 10 copies at £5-99 each plus postage - www.stacey-international.co.uk.

The book can also be purchased from Amazon - www.amazon.com

When the doubters understand that they are subsidising the UK wind industry to the tune of almost £1.5 million per day they will quickly appreciate the need to expose this scam.

Over the short eight years that I have been campaigning, I have frequently heard the cry "what can we do?  Well now we have the answer!

Please don't miss this opportunity to actually make a difference.
