Harry Calder

It is with deep regret that we learnt of the death of Harry on July 7^th, at the age of 86.   Harry had received the Countryside Medal in 2001 for his active support of the CPRE.   A town and country planner, Harry had lived in Falmouth for 40 years.  In 1973 Harry had been instrumental in a national tree planting scheme - Plant a Tree in 73.  This scheme was so successful that it continued into 1974 - Plant Some More in 74.

Harry's funeral will take place at Penmount Crematorium, Truro on Wednesday, July 16^th at 3.30 p.m.
